This bridge restoration project focused on improving the safety, strength, and longevity of a 22-foot bridge that provides access for both pedestrians and vehicles parking in the driveway.
The existing structural beams were removed and replaced, and the underside girders were rebuilt to provide increased stability and long-term support. These critical structural upgrades ensure the bridge is well-equipped to handle daily use while maintaining its integrity for years to come.
The metal railings were carefully unbolted, professionally repainted for enhanced weather protection, and reinstalled. At the homeowner’s request, the railings were finished in a color that complements the surrounding wood, creating a cohesive and attractive appearance.
The original wood deck was replaced with pressure-treated lumber for superior durability and resistance to the elements. We also repainted the wood railings along the pathway leading to the bridge, giving the entire entrance a refreshed and unified look.
