Cedarview Exterior Stair Replacement

The existing exterior stairs at this home had deteriorated beyond repair, creating both a safety concern and an unattractive entrance. Over the course of about a week, the SHEcan2 team removed the old staircase and rebuilt it from the ground up to create a sturdy, safe, and attractive new set of exterior stairs.

Proper installation was especially important where the new stairs connected to the home. We carefully angle-cut into the stucco, securely attached a ledger board to the house, and installed flashing and a moisture barrier to help protect the structure from water intrusion and long-term damage.

The new exterior stairs were pre-painted before installation, providing additional protection while creating a clean, finished appearance. Every part of the project was built with durability, safety, and proper weather protection in mind.

The finished staircase is a dramatic improvement over the deteriorated structure it replaced. The homeowners now have strong, secure exterior stairs that look great and are built to withstand everyday use and exposure to the elements.
