This exterior renovation completely transformed the appearance of the home while adding important weather protection, lasting durability, and beautiful curb appeal.

The project began with the installation of a Tyvek® weather barrier over the existing exterior siding, creating an additional layer of protection against moisture and the elements before the new exterior finishes were installed.

Custom brick wainscoting was then built around the home, along with handcrafted brick columns designed to support and showcase the homeowner’s original wrought iron gate. This preserved the character of the home while adding timeless architectural detail.

To further elevate the exterior, we installed beautiful real cedar lap siding. Although cedar is a premium material, it offers exceptional durability, natural resistance to insects, and timeless beauty, making it an excellent long-term investment. T1-11 vertical panel siding was also incorporated to add architectural character and complement the natural cedar lap siding with clean vertical lines and visual interest.

To complete the transformation, the homeowner selected a beautiful new front entry door that perfectly tied together the updated brickwork, siding, and architectural details. The finished project dramatically enhanced the home’s curb appeal while providing improved weather protection, quality craftsmanship, and lasting value.
