This remodeling project completely transformed the home’s layout by opening up the kitchen and living room into one bright, inviting space. Originally, the home felt closed off with a full wall featuring a dated lattice detail above and a separate half wall dividing the two rooms.
To create a more modern floor plan, we carefully removed both walls, dramatically improving the flow between the kitchen and living areas. The new open concept design allows natural light to travel throughout the space, making the home feel larger, brighter, and far more welcoming.
Beyond the visual transformation, the new layout creates a more functional living environment that’s perfect for entertaining family and friends. The cook is no longer separated from guests, making it easy to prepare meals while remaining part of the conversation and activities.
The finished remodel gave this home a clean, contemporary feel while maximizing both its functionality and everyday livability without increasing its footprint.
