Sometimes the smallest projects make the biggest difference. This kitchen upgrade transformed the cooking area by improving both its functionality and visual appeal.
The existing over-the-range microwave was removed, along with the surrounding cabinetry, to create space for a dedicated range hood. The microwave was relocated elsewhere in the kitchen, and a new high-performance exhaust system was installed to provide significantly better ventilation while cooking.
To enhance the design, we installed beautiful decorative floating shelves that add both style and practical storage. The finishing touch was a striking blue and white tile backsplash behind the range, creating an eye-catching focal point that complements the updated kitchen while protecting the walls from everyday cooking splashes.
Although this was a smaller renovation, the combination of improved ventilation, custom shelving, and a decorative tile backsplash dramatically modernized the space, giving the kitchen a fresh, open feel that the homeowners can enjoy every day.
