The deck shown in this photo is a replacement for an old deck that was in fairly bad shape due to years of weather deterioration. The SHEcan2 Team came up with this beautiful structure with an outstanding horizontal cable design for the rails. No more splinters and no more unsightly old deck. In its place, is now a space for the family to relax and enjoy each other's company, as well as entertain guests.

Sometimes, a deck is not on the ground, as in the case of this one.
This particular deck is also a replacement for the existing one, which, because of the configuration of the house, the back yard is actually one story lower than the street. So, this deck had to be built one story up--on tall support posts.

This project was relatively simple: the homeowner needed their deck replaced because it was just too old. Given the opportunity to turn a replacement deck into a work of art -- well, that's SHEcan2's specialty.
This new deck even had side railings made of cable. Very classy looking!
Our homeowner needed a new deck to replace the old one. But this project was different, because this deck was actually one whole story above the ground.
As a result, the old one was removed and the new one built, one section at a time. In the end, the new deck looked fantastic.
This project was interesting, because it gave us the opportunity to replace a simple set of stairs, which lead downhill to the main entrance of the home.
Again, we took the opportunity to design stairs that were not only functional, but blended in with the surrounding landscape.
Our client needed to replace an exterior stairway, which lead to a second story apartment on an historic Victorian structure.
This meant the new stairway had to look exactly like the old one, down to every detail, in order to preserve the historic look. And that is what we did.
