Work Done: Repaired and reinforced attic roof support structure.
Comments: Terri viewed the attic where some structural beams were bowing, and one had cracked/broken. She proposed a repair that involved reinforcing several beams, and adding additional supports. Her crew arrived in a timely fashion, finished the work in one day, and cleaned up. Very good work.

Work Done: Repaired and reinforced attic roof support structure. Repair dry rot to patio shed, paint both patio and carport storage sheds, repair and replace rotted beams to patio pergola, and all support members, install low voltage lights above windows outside house, paint all framing members around all windows, power eased slump stone retaining walls and then reseal walls, placed copper caps on all upright beams bracing the pergola and hung cabinet in bedroom.
Comments: It is all in the details. May I say that again. It is all in the details. Today I went outside to see if SHECan2 had finished the project. They had. Not only had they finished the project, they placed all the patio furniture, and fixed a metal gate that was forever sticking. There work ethic was excellent. Each day they cleaned up after themselves. Terri, Scott and Kim were absolute professionals. Clear communications, attentive to detail, did not try and up sell the job. Would and will be using them again when I am ready to do both bathrooms. Will recommend to friends and family. Thank you all for enhancing my home.

Work Done: Bathroom repair and updates.
Comments: Terri Harris gave us a good estimation of repairs and updates on small bathroom. They removed tub, installed new shower pan with tile surround, replaced toilet, vanity and flooring and light fixture. They met all time-lines and came with in budget.

Work Done: Removed and replaced water damaged drywall, insulation and baseboards on two exterior bedroom walls and around the corner windows. They located and repaired multiple sources of water intrusion. We also had them replace all the crown molding for aesthetic reasons.
Comments: We found signs of water intrusion when we began pulling off the old musty smelling painted-over wallpaper which came off (too) easily in large sheets. Our roof was replaced 8 years ago so we were sure the damage was not from that source. However, at that same time we also had the exterior walls insulated with cellulose blown in through holes drilled through the stucco from the outside.
When we examined the exterior wall of the bedroom we noticed some of the plugs used to fill the holes were beginning to pop out slightly and suspected this was a source of slow water seepage. We were right. When the contractors, Terry and Steve, pulled off the interior drywall and insulation light could be seen around some of the plugs. They patched all the holes in the wall, even those that appeared water tight. They also found and repaired the source of water seeping in around the windows.
The new drywall, baseboard and crown moldings look great. We did the painting ourselves. We did have to call Terry back the next day when we realized we could not completely close one window. It was an easy fix and she took care of it immediately. Terry and Steve were great to work with. The bid was very detailed and covered everything we talked about. The job was completed in two days. Communication was excellent.

Comments:The SheCan2 crew demo'd and completed remodeled my master bathroom. They implemented my vision to a "t". They were professional, punctual, on budget. When a challenge arose with the aged water main valve for my house, they coordinated with the city and replaced it, keeping the project on time and budget. They take great pride in their work and it showed.

Work Done: Remodeled small Master Bedroom and Bath including framing, plumbing, electrical, new window and skylight, Sheetrock, painting, tile, and trim as well as patching siding outside. Also re-roofed entire house and ran power to an exterior building.
Comments: The bid process was very professional with very clear communication -- often by email which I appreciate. The price was very fair although not the lowest bid -- but I believe you get what you pay for and their experience was worth more to me. The work quality was excellent usually and if we asked for improvements, they were done without question. For the most part workers showed up in a timely fashion and worked efficiently. Communication was pretty good throughout the process ... I would definitely recommend them again.

Work Done: Remodeled main bathroom (removed old fixtures, built shower, installed new fixtures), installed new tile throughout upstairs, built out a stairwell, and built out exterior storage closets.
Comments: We bought our first place - a 25 year old condo with all of the original fixtures, old carpet, and limited storage space. SHECan2 came in, had the lowest bid, and did exactly what we asked. They were punctual, professional, had a well-planned project time line, and finished everything as promised. We love our updated bathroom, our tile, and our additional storage space. We'll definitely call them again when we're ready to remodel our kitchen!

Comments: The contractor estimated three weeks and the project took three weeks and one day. This is the second project we have undertaken with this contractor. The first was relatively minor. The workers were all professional and courteous. They went out of their way to ensure that we were satisfied. They even followed up on a minor issue that was not under the purview of the contract. We plan to use them for future work.

Work Done: Reconstructed a wardrobe closet whose wooden hanger pole had pulled away from the wall.
Comments: "She" did a very quick, very professional job in attaching a new plywood piece (of similar color to the wall) securely to the wall and anchoring the pole in several places. The whole procedure, once the dimensions were made days previously, took less than one half-hour! I was extremely pleased and asked the company to do some more work on my wooden deck (ongoing).
We had earlier been in a discussion on a lighting problem, but She recommended that I find another company to do it, since it was not part of a remodeling project. She is very honest and trustworthy, has very moderate fees, works to find the most cost-effective and environmentally sensitive solutions, communicates both by phone and email for any updates in scheduling the work and I thoroughly enjoy working with them!

Comments: Terri was great! We closed on a house that had horrible carpeting in the living room. She recommended a guy who could refinish the hardwood floors that were under the carpeting. He couldn't schedule the job in before we moved in and so Terri arranged to at least have the carpet pulled up and disposed of before the move... we will definitely use Terri again.

Comments: They spent a lot of time explaining things to me. Most of the [other] contractors who come out get very frustrated because I don’t know enough about construction to speak about it intelligently. I also have a lot of questions and so I can be a knowledgeable consumer. However, the people who came out from Shecan2 were really patient and I thought that they were wonderful.

Comments: They do really beautiful work. Their tile guy is an artist. In one area, we had glass tile put in our master bathroom. He realized that the tile would be rough in places if he installed it a certain way, so he let us know and had parts reordered. ... They may take a little time, but they were very meticulous.

The gentleman who did the work was meticulous, tidy, and pleasant showing me exactly the work to be done including measures to get an exact match on the final paint.
